CHOIR NEWS!

Choir rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, September 8 at 7:00 P.M.  Choir is open to all that are of high school age and older that wish to sing.  We’d love to have some new members join us this season.

 

Junior and Senior High Kick-Off – September 25.

The evening begins at 7:00 P.M. with a barbecue in the school gym followed by a dynamic speaker!  Sign up today on the sign up sheet on the table in the church fellowship hall.  Remember your parents are also invited to this event.

 

WORSHIP WORKSHOP! Madison Avenue CRC is hosting a worship workshop on Saturday, September 11 from 9-1 at their church.  Any interested person is welcome to attend, with a special invitation to church leaders a

nd youth.  Flyers are available at the back of the church or talk to Pastor Joel.

Back to School Prayer and Praise

Sussex Christian School will be opening the school year this Thursday, September 2.  We would like to start the year off with a brief prayer and praise service in the gym from 9:00-9:15 A.M. Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to attend.  We will be giving thanks and praising our Creator for our school families, staff, and students and praying for God’s blessing on the new school year.

 

FALL FESTIVAL

SCS invites you to their annual fall festival on Saturday, September 18 at the fairgrounds.  There will be fun for the whole family.  The Auction Committee is accepting donations for the auction through September 10. If you would like to donate please contact Kristy Lockburner or Dawn Klein.  To order your chicken barbecue tickets call Judy Vander Ploeg at 973-702-8561.  The live auction will begin at 6:00 P.M.
